1929 is the year of opportunity for Packard dealers. The Packard organization, old
in reputation but youthful in spirit, has kept in contact with dealers' problems in a
way that is enabling Packard to produce new designs in Packard instruments that
will sell most readily and to supply the selling assistance dealers need.
1 he Heppelwhite Grand shown at the ri^ht is the newest Packard value—a splendid
instrument in an exquisite case at a surprisingly low price. It's true Packard quality
in every line with the rich full rounded tone Packard Grands are noted for. Get the
Packard plan behind you—get Packard values on your floors. Write us now!

and has occupied an extensive plant on the site of the
old East street shops in Kenton street. This plant

HERMAN FLEER RESIGNS
FROM LYON & HEALY
Comes to His Decision Rather Suddenly and
His Term Came to an End Last Saturday
Night, November 24.
Presto-Times was surprised upon receiving the fol-
lowing letter on Monday of this w r eek from President
Raymond E. Durham of Lyon & Healy, Inc., Wabash
avenue and Jackson boulevard, Chicago:
"We have accepted the resignation of Mr. H. H.
Fleer as vice-president in charge of the Piano Divi-
sion, and as a director, effective as of November 24th.
1928.
"We very much regret the resignation of Mr. Fleer,
and the fact that greater opportunities take him away
from the Lyon & Healy organization.
"We wish him the greatest measure of success in
his new association."
It is too soon to make any announcement as to Mr.
Fleer's plans for the future, as it was learned that
he had not vet made a decision.

is more than twice as large as the former one, has a
frontage of forty feet and a depth of one hundred
feet. The floor of the central vestibule, eighteen feet
in depth, is laid in French style of soft shades of
brown and green. The two large show windows lend
themselves to interesting possibilities for the display
of musical instruments. The two large French doors
give an inviting entrance opening of eight feet.
The annual stag party of the Piano Club of Chi-
cago will be held on Monday, December 3, at the
Lake Shore Athletic Club, 850 Lake Shore drive.
Vice-President G. R. Brownell is chairman of the

ison dinner and special entertainment. Charles Watts,
who plays the part of Jasper Cobb in the "5 O'Clock
