ing the achievements of the company in originating
a winning range of benches and cabinets is the inter-

"PREMIER" FOR RADIO.
The U. S. Patent Office recently received an appli-
cation from the Premier Grand Piano Corporation,
New York City, for registration of the name "Pre-
mier" as a trademark for radio receiving sets adapted
for installation in or for combination association with
pianos, players, and playerpianos; radio receiving sets
mounted, installed, or contained in cases with pianos;
radio receiving sets wherein parts of pianos are used
as parts of radio receiving sets; radio receiving sets
having as cabinets or enclosures therefor parts of
pianos, and radio receiving sets utilizing electric en-
ergy supplied to pianos or electrical apparatus con-
tained in pianos.
Wagner of the T. H. Electric Co. has been named
president of the association. Other officers are Ira
Williams of the Pettis store, vice president; Frank
Argast of the Hatneld Electric Co., secretary and
treasurer, and H. Bodle of the Capitol Electric Co.,
assistant secretary and treasurer. The association
will take over plans for the annual radio show to be
held at the state fair in September.
F. S. Smith, president of the Perfection Furniture
Company, 1514 to 1518 Blue Island avenue, Chicago,
left on Monday of this week for a trip to points in
Michigan. It is one of the occasional trips to adjoin-
ing states in which Mr. Smith adds to the number of
representatives of Perfection benches and cabinets.
The numerous inquiries about the goods from inter-
ested dealers make such short trips necessary.
The true economy of handling Perfection benches
and cabinets is easily made plain to the alert dealer
in a short talk with Mr. Smith. He naturally is
enthusiastic about the merits of his line and his
ability to describe the technical superiority of each
