One of the most serious phases of post-war Ger-
many, the restlessness of its youth and the desire for
freedom from thes hackles of age, is treated in "Pri-
manerliebe," which will have its premiere at the Chi-
cago Playhouse, 410 South Michigan avenue Chicago,
during the week beginning Sunday, March 25. "Pri-
manerliebe" is a study in adolescence. Objectively,
it is the story of a young student, rebelling against
the rigid discipline and heartless practicality of his
elders. Inherently, however, it is a drama typical of
the new youth of Germany and, after a fashion, of
America also. On the same program with "Primaner-
liebe" the Playhouse will present Charlie Chaplin in
"The Immigrant," and "The Head Hunters of Equa-
dor," an adventure film.
