NEW AID FOR SALESMEN
OF JACOB BROS. PIANOS
Handy and Durable Case Contains Alluring
Information About Pianos
and Players.
Salesmen of Jacob Brothers' pianos may now equip
themselves with a convincing packet of piano model
pictures contained in a handsome and durable con-
tainer.
The case is of convenient pocket size, rigid and
covered with stamped leather on which is embossed
in gold relief letters: "Jacob Brothers' Piano Co."
and on the reverse side: "Compliments of Jacob
Brothers, 306 East 133rd street, New York." The
idea is novel and tasteful.
The contents of the case include a card bearing
the history of Jacob Brothers, a statement of the
company's policies and an allusion to the merits of
Jacob Brothers instruments; a reproduction of the
official award ribbon of the World's Columbian Ex-
position printed in colors and gold and half-tone pic-
tures of ten Jacob Brothers styles in upright and
grand models.
M. SCHULZ & COMPANY IS
GETTING CAR=LOAD LOT ORDERS
one car-load lot, and several other orders in less than
carload lots.
"Trade isn't bad at all," said Mr. Bassett. "It has
been coming back for some time now and gets better
and better. Of course when the snow begins to fly
freely there will be additional trade in pianos and
playerpianos."
LESTER WELTE=MIGNON
IN PITTSBURGH THEATER
Loew's New House on Sixth Avenue Has Specially
Decorated Reproducer on Mezzanine Floor.
The management of the new Loew's Theater on
Sixth street, Pittsburgh, Pa., overlooked nothing
which would contribute to the comfort and entertain-
ment of their patrons.
On the mezzanine floor of the handsome lobby they
have installed a magnificent Lester Welte-Mignon
(Licensee) reproducing piano which is a delight both
to the eye and to the ear. Following the style of
decoration used in this portion of the house Cable &
Sons, who furnished the instrument, had it decorated
with gold leaf. The result was harmonious in the
extreme.
It is interesting to note how almost all of the
finest theaters now provide their patrons with aux-
iliary entertainment in some portion of the building.
The Lester Welte-Mignon (Licensee) is an ideal in-
strument for this purpose.

A call at the M. Schulz Company's headquarters,
711 Milwaukee avenue, Chicago, on Wednesday of
this week was made cheerful by getting the infor-
mation that trade was good, everything else con-
sidered.
Frederick P. Bassett, secretary and treasurer of
the company, admitted that that day's orders included
