tremely high. It is expected logging operations will
be resumed soon along Green River in western Ken-
tucky.

A prediction that within one year after June 1,
when the Federal Radio Commission's new align-
ment of stations went into effect, voluntarily consoli-
dations on the part of the broadcasters will reduce
the 690 stations now in operation to perhaps 450

which was put into effect on June 15.

came exclusive Brunswick phonograph distributors
in Iowa, taking over the wholesale business in all the
state with the exception of nine counties, which were
formerly handled by direct Brunswick branches.
