The above picture shows a recent Q R S window
display by the Quarg Music Co., San Francisco,
Calif., and depicts the prominence given Q R S
player rolls by the active music house. The San
Francisco firm, which is located at 198 O'Farrell
street, also owns and operates the Phonograph Shop
in the same city at 109 Stockton street. At both
stores Q R S player rolls are carried in complete
stock and are featured in attractive window displays
at all times. Will Quarg, of the Quarg Music Co.,
in commenting on the Q R S Co.'s player rolls, said:
"The well-known popularity of the Q R S rolls
acts as a decided 'pulling factor' in inducing the
passers-by to come in and combine their roll pur-
chases with their talking machine record."
Gordon Perry, who is connected with this com-
pany, states that the reduction in the price of Q R S
rolls to $1 on the popular and Blue Bird numbers
came as a surprise to their customers, but at the
same time with appreciation as the increased business
shows.
