MERITS OF COINOLA
TOLD IN NEW FOLDER
Exterior and Interior Views of Various Models
Make Plain the Claims of the Operators'
Piano Company.
A new folder of the Operators Piano Co., 715 North
Kedzie avenue, Chicago, gives the details of an inter-
esting line of automatic instruments, with excellent
halftone cuts to make clearer the structural merits of
the electric pianos and orchestras. "The Coinola, the
original Gold Standard of Electric Pianos," is the
displayed statement, to which is added: "For twenty
years the acid test of all comparisons has found them
the best. Where quality, service, profit and perman-
ence are appreciated you find Coinolas prove it."
Exterior and interior views of the Style C zylo-
phone are shown which make clear the simplicity of
construction. That feature and the desirability of its
parts are the reasons for the trouble-proof, depend-
able and profitable pianos is the convincing fact im-
pressed upon the dealers who are advised not to ex-
periment. "You know you're right when you sell
a Coinola," is the assurance.
An exterior and interior view of Style X is also
shown in the new folder. It is another of the good

tion, moderately priced. It's the

every standpoint.
sellers of the Coinola line. The interior makes plain
the simplicity of the motor and action parts as well
as the aids to music service. "There's money in sell-
ing electrics that satisfy. Coinolas have satisfied the
most critical for twenty years. Try them once—sell
them always. Your first sale will show you why,"
is the advice of the makers.
The Midget, "a coin collector without an equal," is
also shown in outside and inside views. The Midget,
according to the folder, "is large enough to attract
attention yet so compact that it will fit anywhere.
No keyboard—no excuse to play by hand" is the ex-
planation. The dimensions are small but the profits
big is the claim. The Midget's measurements are:
Height, 5 ft. 4 ins.; width, 3 ft. 10 ins., and depth,
2 ft. 2 ins. A new Midget combination shown in an
interior view is designed to meet the demand for a
small orchestra. The instrumentation is piano, man-
dolin, bass drum, snare drum, two octaves of
Deagan's xylophones, cymbal, tambourine, triangle
and Indian block.
Catalog and prices furnished on request to dealers
in unalloted territory, is the invitation in the folder.
FEATURES ESTEY ORGAN
IN EASTER DISPLAY
Lyon & Healy, Chicago, Show Two-Manual
Instrument in Richly Decorated Window
Decorated with Easter Lilies.
Among the window displays along Wabash avenue,
Chicago, this week the corner window of Lyon &
Healy, Inc., Wabash and Jackson, stands out as one
of the most attractive, in the fact that it is appropriate
to the season and beautiful.
The center of the display and the main point of
interest is a two-manual Estey organ.
Only last week Lyon & Healy closed two deals
for fine Estey organs, one for a beautiful home in
Detroit and one for a new church in Celina, Ohio, the
latest incidents in a succession of Estey organ sales
since the first of the year.
There is a steadily improving demand for fine
organs, and the Estey naturally comes in for a large
proportion of sales.
The colorful display in the Lyon & Healy window
is harmonious with spring and Easter, as the setting
is of green with groups of Easter lilies clustered
around the organ. Mr. Stewart, who dressed the
window, showed his usual artistic ability in the
appropriate display.

A. G. Gulbransen, President of the Gulbransen Co.,
Considerably Quoted by Papers.
The number of items in one way or another allud-
ing to the Gulbransen Registering Piano appearing in
the daily press is significant of the keen interest of
the public. Items quoting President A. G. Gulbran-
sen, and giving readers the latest thoughts on the im-
portance of the Registering Piano in current home
and music activities are enlightening.
When the calibre of Gulbransen news stories is
taken into consideration, it is not so surprising that
the newspapers seek them. One of the current
articles deals with the reaction of the human nervous
system to music, comparing its effects with other
arts. The article is informative, definite, interesting.
It makes as good or better reading for the trade, as
for the general public.
