"The most complete line of high grade pianos and
playerpianos, talking machines and records—leading
makes of musical merchandise—are assembled for

Most Popular Design with Dealers Chosen to Fill
Panel at Annual Affair.
The Billboard Ball lo be held November 25 in the
Coliseum, Chicago, will be an interesting advertise-
ment exhibit as well as a commendable charity prop-
osition. Among the posters to be found on exhibi-
tion will be Poster No. 6 of the Gulbransen Co.,
Chicago. The practically unanimous favor shown

this particular poster design on the part of Gulbran-
sen dealers, indicates that this is the most popular
design, and so it is being given precedence at the
Billboard Ball over other numbers from one to seven,
which have so far been issued by the company.
In addition to the display of posters, there will be a
tableau, featuring advertising products, and dancing
by the guests. Some of the highest class and best
known manufacturers in the country have already
contracted for space, and in fact the available panels
are sold out.

Retail Store at Rockford Redecorated Is Handsomer
Than Before the Fire.
The Schumann Piano Co.'s salesroom at State and
Wyman streets streets, Rockford, 111., has been com-
pletely redecorated and a new stock installed since
the recent disastrous fire.
In redecorating the walls and ceilings, much at-
tention was paid to tone effects, including mahogany
panels set in surrounding color effects to harmonize
the entire decorative plan into a subdued yet colorful
scheme.
The redecorative plan extends from the Victrola
department, presided over by E. H. Jackson, and
the radio department, both on the main floor, down
to the basement where a piano salon has been re-
fitted in an effort to give the best display possible.
Heavy vetour draperies add a soft touch to the
salon, which is a combined music and display room.
Floor lamps, with colorful shades, are placed at fre-
quent intervals, giving the salon the appearance of
a music conservatory.
Fred Firestone is manager of the Schumann Piano
company store and he has displayed much taste in
the renewed establishment.

his new store the Grand Piano Co., and it is located
at 133 E. Market street, Akron. The new store
starts out with a liberal and well-worded advertise-
ment in the local papers.
