The Green Label list of Gennett records is en-
riched this week by the addition of No. 2602, which
contains Angels Guard Thee (Godard), and Angels'
Serenade (Braga), Mme. Jeanne Brola, with violin

Lovers of the art of beautiful singing, it matters
not where you find them, will love this new record
by Jeanne Brola not only for the marvelous beauty
of the songs themselves but for the smoothness and
ease with which they are sung. The record opens
with solt violin tones and the voice soon begins in a
rich, full stream of melody. Both numbers, old
favorites of music lovers, are songs of sincere and
tender emotion interpreted with perfect artistry.
Jeanne Brola aptly shows her mastery of the art of
singing in this splendid record.
Another new Gennett record issued this week is
Xo. 5520—Follow The Swallow (Rose-Dixon-Hen-

SUPPLIES OUTFIT FOR BAND.
A complete outfit of band instruments made by
C. G. Conn, Ltd., Elkhart, Ind., was recently sup-
plied to the Western University of Kansas City,
Kans., by the E. B. Guild Music Co., Kansas City,
Mo. The instruments of the university band were
destroyed in a fire last winter. The E. B. Guild
Music Co., of which E. B. Guild is the head and able
manager, has been successful in furnishing the instru-
ments for several prominent bands.
EXPANDING IN AKRON, O.
The George S. Dales Co., Akron, Ohio, one of the
largest of Akron music houses, announces that con-
struction work on enlarging his store in South Main
street has been started and will be rushed to comple-
tion. Plans call for acquisition of the adjacent build-
ing, removal of the partition and merging of the two
main floors into one large room which will be de-
voted to talking machines and records and the third
floor will serve as the piano studio and general offices.

signalized by special opening events, which advertised
