SOME RECENT VISITORS TO
THE GULBRANSEN FACTORY
E. J. Hymas, New Zealand Distributor, Spends Sev-
eral Days at the Big Chicago Factory.
Among the recent visitors to the Gulbransen Co.'s
factory and offices, Chicago and Kedzie avenue, Chi-
cago, were E. J. Hymans, Gulbransen representative
for New Zealand, and Messrs. Witzman and Steuber
of the Witzman & Steuber Piano Company, Inc.,
Memphis, Tenn.
Mr. Hymas, whose headquarters are at Wellington,
is making his eighth trip around the world and
stopped over in Chicago for a few days with the pur-
pose of visiting the home of the famous Registering
Piano. In all, Mr. Hymas spent about three days
inspecting the factory and was impressed with its
magnitude and the unique methods employed in the
manufacturing of the popular instrument.
Jn New Zealand there is a good demand for Ameri-
can made pianos and the Gulbransen is among the
leaders in supplying this demand. The fact that the
Gulbransen has a good following in this progressive
island of the antipodes is attributed to its tone and
its method of operation, which is a form of simplic-
ity in itself.
