It is an unique position that is suggested by the

that a man has been associated with the same house,

have never been neglected. Mr. Schneider is, fur-
thermore; the only man who has held the dual posi-
tion of assistant president and treasurer at one time.
It is a large retrospect that is possible to Adam
Schneider, who may look back to the days when
Chicago had scarcely started upon the career which
has brought the city to first place as a manufacturing
center. And in everything that has stirred the trade
and industry through all the fifty years he has taken
some part. Always, when some special service could
be done by which, not only the Bauer piano, but all
reputable pianos and all established piano concerns,
might be assisted and made stronger, Mr. Schneider
has stood ready to help.
It is certain that there will be a large gathering in
the Florentine Room of the Congress Hotel on the
evening of the fourth of this month.
