WEEKLY PAYMENTS SATISFACTORY.
A weekly plan of payments on talking machines in-
stead of a monthly one has been tried by dealers in
Philadelphia and found feasable and satisfactory.
The innovation was a few months ago suggested
to the retailers by H. A. Weyman & Son, Victor
distributors, and the innovation has proved an ad-
vantage to customers and dealers. The plan of
weekly payments brings the talking machine owners
to the stores oftener and thereby the record busi-
ness is increased.
SALES SPACE INCREASED.
The J. H. Rockwell & Son Music Co., Providence,
U. T., has increased its wareroom space by an area
of 350 square feet, and has altered the layout of the
department to effect economy of space. The house
carries a wide range of string instruments and owns
a valuable collection of antiques and rare instruments
from many countries. J. H. Rockwell, the head of
the house, is the inventor of the Rockwell music
stand.
