THE PIANO REPAIR SHOP
Chicago Shop Solves Dealers' Problem of Accumula-
tion of Taken-in-Trade Instruments.
The needs for a repair department are apparent to
all dealers doing a lively business. In nearly every
playerpiano deal there is an exchange consideration
and almost with every sale of a player an old straight
piano comes into possession of the dealer. So with
the accumulation of old pianos comes the problem of
how to dispose of them. If the dealer has a repair
department the means to make the old pianos salable
are at hand.
But the dealer who does not maintain a regular
repair shop finds the facilities for making over his
taken-in-trade pianos in the Piano Repair Shop, 425
S. Wabash avenue, Chicago, a place practically kept
busy doing the repair work of dealers. The trade
in a wide radius around Chicago finds the help of
the Piano Repair Shop most effective in preparing the
used pianos for sale. Player actions installed, instru-
ments and actions and keys repaired are activities of
the place. Pianos and phonographs are rebuilt by
expert workmen in the shop.
