HELPED BY COLUMBIA ROLLS
Columbia Music Roll Co. Tells Why Line Is Back-
ground of Busy Roll Department.
NOT ONLY
do we specialize in the very best of
piano and organ supplies, including
hammers, felts, cloths, punchings,
wedges, and straight hardware, such as
hinges, tuning pins, music wire, cast-
ers, piano tools, player stock, etc.
BUT
we are also speed specialists when it
comes to the handling and filling of
your orders. Our large stock and
modern methods enable us to do so.
A lively roll department is one of the best assur-
ances for more playerpiano sales. A line of rolls
that has the element of timeliness, clever recording
and reasonable prices is one of the most effective
means towards keeping up the interests of the player-
piano owner in his instrument. Those are the views
of the Columbia Music Roll Co., 22 S. Peoria street,
Chicago, which calls the Columbia Word Rolls "the
background of a busy roll department." The effect
of a good roll department of the playerpiano sales is
considered obvious.
These are some of the brief claims of the Columbia
Music Roll Co.: "The rolls are made of the best
materials obtainable.
Will please your trade and
double your sales. Quality and price make Columbia
rolls the dealer's best profit producer in a roll depart-
ment."

WOOD OUTPUT DECLINES.
Since 1907, peak year of lumber production in the
United States, our output has been declining 3 per
cent annually, according to the New York State
College of Forestry, Syracuse University. We have
dropped from 500 board feet for each person in 1907
to 316 board feet in 1920, a decline of 37 per cent in
thirteen years, while the population increased 15 per
cent.
