Omaha, Neb., is chairman of the committee of ar-
rangements of music events of Ak-Sar-Ben Week to
be celebrated in that city October 2 to 6. A band
contest is scheduled as a leading feature of the pro-
ceedings. Cash prizes for bands including juvenile
bands will be provided. There will also be individual
prizes of cups, banners and musical instruments for
successful soloists to be contributed by musical in-
strument manufacturers.
