PLAYERPIANOS IN SOUTH AFRICA.
American playerpianos are making headway in the
South African market against keen German com-
petition, and, while these imports into South Africa
still come largely from Germany, the American
playerpianos are finding increasing favor as the de-
mand for these instruments becomes more wide-
spread. There is reason to believe, reports Consul
Donald at Johannesburg, that playerpianos ranging
in price from $300 to $350 f.o.b. New York would find
favor.
