ants who shall fail to file their claims with the re-

aforesaid, shall be debarred from any share in or
to the property of the Olympic Disc Record Cor-
poration, the defendant in said action, and shall
not be entitled to receive any share of the assets
or property of sard defendant or of the proceeds or
dividends arising therefrom."

Branch of Music Business.
The factory of the Federal Record Corporation,
Albany, N. Y., was badly damaged by fire last week.
The Van de Walle Music Co., Seymour, Ind., has
established a roll exchange plan whereby a new roll
will be given for an old roll and ten cents.
A music roll library has been added to the business
of Smith, Metzger & Wright Co., Warren, Pa., by
G. Gifford Smith, who has acquired control of the
music department of the company.
The making of music rolls will be shown by Sher-
man, Clay & Co., San Francisco, at the California
Industries Exposition to be opened at the Exposition
Auditorium this rrTonth.

In the suit of James S. Holmes vs. the Remington
Phonograph Corp., before District Judge Knox in
New York recently, Julian Hartridge, 233 Broadway,
New York City, was appointed Special Master to
consider and pass upon any and all the claims which
may be filed pursuant to the provisions of and order
of the court, and to give notice to creditors the date
of hearings for contested claims.

The world's greatest violin collection is kept in a
vault of a Pittsburgh, Pa., bank, according to the
New York Morning World. The collection, includ-
ing a Stradivarius worth $20,000, belongs to Gabriel
M. Francois, who says that he can prove that the
violins made today are in no way inferior to the aged
instruments.
