Moiseiwitsch in Concert in Portland, Ore., Provides
Publicity Chance to Wiley B. Allen Co.
The appearance in concert in Portland, Ore., this
week of Benno Moiseiwitsch provided a good ad-
vertising opportunity to the Wiley B. Allen Co.'s
branch in that city. At the concert by the Portland
Symphony Orchestra at the Heilig Theater on
Wednesday (October 27) the great pianist was the
chief attraction.
The Wiley B. Allen Co. has the agency in the
Oregon city for the Mason & Hamlin piano, and in
repeating the fact in the newspapers added the fol-
lowing announcement: "Mr. Moiseiwitsch has se-
lected the Mason & Hamlin piano for his exclusive
use on his present American tour. He writes that
the Mason & Hamlin pianos are incomparable
among instruments of their kind and enhance the
scope of music as an art."
