The company has Jos. J. Davilla as staff writer.
His first song, "There's Something I Like About
You," won the diploma at the Louisiana State
Fair for best words and music; he is also the author
of the noted Sophie Tucker coon novelty song hit,
"Give Me Back My Husband, You've Had Him
Long E'Nuff," and has written several other good
numbers, which were sold outright to other pub-
lishers. He is now contracted to write exclusively
for the World's Music Pub. Co. His next three
song hits will be off the press some time next week,
when a coast-to-coast advertising campaign will be
waged through various popular magazines.
PIANO PLANT FOR FRESNO.
A report comes from Fresno, Cal., that the town
is soon to have a piano factory. The local news-
papers say that Fresno is reaching out after fac-
tories to supply work for men who are idle during
the time that work in the fruit industry is at a
standstill.
