RRESTO
ET A FEW AHEAD"
One of the most astute men in the piano business re-
cently made the above words the keynote of a striking
and timely warning to the Piano Dealers of America.
The views then expressed are fully endorsed by the
Hallet & Davis Piano Company
We believe that never in the history of the music trade
has the need been more imperative for the merchants to
lay in some pianos beyond their immediate necessities.
All indications point to greatly increased difficulties in
shipments, and restricted production this Fall, and this at
the very time when the public demand is at its best.
Right now the conditions in both transportation and pro-
duction are fairly good. We can fill orders and deliver
goods with reasonable volume and promptitude. What
we can do sixty or ninety days hence is problematical.
