NEW REPUBLIC LIST
REPLETE WITH FEATURES
September Presentations from the Progressive
Roll Manufacturers Has All the Winners
Asked for by Player Owners.
The outstanding feature of the list for September
of the Republic Player Roll Corporation is "Fair
One," a fox-trot composed by Ted Lewis and played
by those peerless syncopators, J. Milton Delcamp
and Adam Carroll. Mr. Delcamp has also recorded
"Rackety-Rag" and the present day hit, "The Love
Nest." The "12th Street Rag," one of those old blue
numbers that never die, adds a touch of novelty to
the September list.
The remainder of the list is composed of a variety
of hits—jazz, oriental, sentimental—and upholds the
high standard of the Republic Player Roll Corpora-
tion. The list follows

trot (Fischer). Played by Adrian Rollini.
"Beautiful Annabell Lee," novelty waltz song
(Meyers). Played by J. M. Delcamp and Adam
Carroll.
"Mammy's Goodnight Lullaby," fox trot (Von Til-
zer). Played by Nan Foster.
"Leave Me Your Love," ballad (Fischer). Played
by Nan Foster.

NEW GULBRANSEN FACTORY IS
BEING OCCUPIED GRADUALLY
Finishing Department Already at Work on Upper
Floors of Giant Structure.
The Gulbransen-Dickinson Company's finishing
department is already spreading into the new space
set aside for its use on the upper floors of the vast
new playerpiano factory at Kedzie and Chicago
avenues, Chicago, and a large lot of new machinery
is arriving and is being set up in the mill room and
veneer department.
The new power house and smokestack have been
completed. The stack is so tall it is a landmark in-
dicating, for miles around, the location of the plant.
The boilers arc being set up and connected, and as
soon as this work is completed it will permit the
tearing down of the old power house and the erec-
tion of new dry kilns.
BALDWIN CO'S NOTE ISSUE.
C. L. Calhoon, dealer in Delco-Light products in
Hoxie, Kans., is putting in a music department. Mr.
Calhoon has ordered a full line of pianos and play-
ers from the Baldwin Piano Co.
A new issue of $2,500,000 8 per cent convertible
gold notes has been placed on the market by the
Baldwin Company of Cincinnati, for the purpose of
refinancing. The plans of the company include an
increase in both the common and preferred stocks.
The notes are made convertible into 8 per cent
cumulative preferred stock at any time within their
life of five years at the option of the holder. The
proceeds of the notes will be used in completing the
new building on Gilbert avenue, Cincinnati. The
company is in the midst of a very active season in
its business., and it is expanding constantly.
