hope; he never gave in to the d is-
ease that pu n ished his body with
such pain. He was alert a nd pla nning
for the future . He even continued to
work until March . His mind was
always creating. He was inventing a
new game and h ad rem arked to a
friend how much he wished to go
home from the hospita l to finish his
proJect.
That was the kind of m an Harry
was- always anxious to give mo re
to people, to somehow make peo-
ple 's lives a little easier, and per-
haps, to give joy and peace to a
society that desperately needs it. H e
was a humble man who never
sought recognition for himself.
Maybe, he never really knew that he
would leave a legacy through his
wo rk , but I know he has done that
and I thank God everyday fort he gift
of H arry Williams.
My blessing to all of you, and I
th ank all of you for the great support
you have given me.

To all the friends of H arry Williams:
I want to thank you for your warm
expression of love and respect for
Harry and me.
My beloved H arry died Sunday,
September 11 , 1983 , at 10:50 p .m . in
Desert Hospital. H e was given the
last rites, and I was blessed enough
to be at his side when he gave his life
over to God .
H arry was a most marvelous man
and my years with him were a rich
treasure. I was always aware of his
courage, love, and gall antry, but
never mo re so than during his final
battle with cancer. He never lost
