Part 2 (the fun part) instructions:
Using the numbers you figured out in Part I, solve
these math problems. To help, I'll give you a hint about the
answer to each problem by giving you a clue to a coin-op
machine that has a name with the answer-number in it.

OK . Time for a break . I'll give you two clues that might
help you solve the puzzle, and then we11 jump into some
tougher problems. First clue: A+ G =C. Second clue: D x
D =D.
I I. The square root of A+ the square root of E = _ _ _ _
(clue: Gottlieb's 1932 classic pingame)
12. HJ x (B - K) = _ _ _ _ _ _ (clue: Stern's 1980 pin

13 . The total of A, B, C, D. E, F, G, H. I, J, and K. multi-
plied by G, minus F, divided in half, minus B, divided by
the answer to #I, squared, cubed, plus A, plusH , plus K

masterpiece, squared)

clues: A (4) + G (I)= C (5)
D (0) X D (0) = D (0)
I I . The square root of A ( 4) is 2; the square root of E (9) is
3. 2 + 3 is 5
(Five Star Final)
12 . H (I 0) to the third power equals I ,000 (I 0 x I 0 x I 0) .
B (8) - K (6) = 2. 1,000 X 2 = 2,000
(Flight 2000)
13 . All the numbers totaled is 55. Multiply that by G (I),
and you still have 55 . Subtract F (3) to get 52. Divide
52 in half to get 26. Subtract B (8) to get 18. Divide by
the answer to# I ( 18) to get I. Square I (I x I) to get I.
Cube I (I x I x I) to get one . Add A (4), add H ( 10), and
K (6) to get the answer: 21 .
14 . K (6) - F (3)

F (3) + D (0) =
H (I 0) - E (9) =

(The clue is Gottlieb's Three Muscateers. Three squared is
3 X 3 = 9)
15 . The trick is that G - G = 0 (anything minus itself equals
0). And anything multiplied by 0 is 0, and that's the
answer.
