Cosmic Wars , a cocktail pinball
machine by Coffee -M at, recently
arrived on the electronic game
circuit .
The game , which weighs 170
pounds and measures 30 1/ 4 by 42 by
30 1/ 4 comes with an optional pedes-
tal base (height with the base is 40
inches) . The cabinet is all metal.
'1 he solid state circuitry electronics
features a micro-computer. Adjust-
able volume offers six electronic
sounds .
The two-player game , with indi-
vidual L. E. D. score readouts , has
a flashing record high score memory .
Scoring may go up to one million .
Free game credits , free ball bonus ,
an ability to convert to add -a-ball ,
and end of game match scoring also
are starbilled features of the game .
Hand
truck
A light , strong aluminum hand
truck which converts to a rugged,
4 -wheel platform truck is now offered
by Magline , Inc., manufacturers of
light metal handling equipment.
Designed for loading and handling
of conventional upright hand truck
loads , the unit is also engineered to
accommodate large. bulky platform
truck cargo with ease .
The truck converts from two -
wheel to four-wheel duty by releasing
a spring catch, allOWing platform
frame to slide down and lock in
horizotal floor truck position . There
are no loose parts, and no tools are
needed for changeover .
Frame qUickly slides back up and
locks in upright two-wheel hand
truck position . With stability in both
attitudes, vertical and horizontal , the
compact truck is also easy to
maneuver in either position due to
large pneumatic wheels and smooth-
rolling swivel casters .
The new Gemini trucks are
available in two models : 61 -inches
high , with platform truck capacity of
800 pounds ; and 51 -inches high,
with platform truck capacity of 650
pounds .
" The Poker Machine has been so
successful ," John L. Walsh , presi -
dent of Intermark Industries , Inc .,
reported, " that we are offering three
new configurations of the game."
Poker Machine is now available in
a new upright. formica. walnut grain
cabinet which sports a vertical
19-inch monitor with colorlays , or a
new counter-top walnut cabinet for
locations with limited available space .
A kit for overseas and conversion
markets also is available .
"The Poker Machine has a
microprocessor for a dealer ," Walsh
said , and " he always plays fair."
Single or multiple coins can be
inserted prior to dealing with one to
ten credits played per hand . Players
stand pat , or discard and draw with a
reshuffled deck every deal.
A sound is individually produced
for each type of card . An ace has its
own sound, the king has a different
one . An arrow appears to indicate
the winner from the on -screen
winning hands chart .
