AMOA school
requirements
Because of the great response to
its A.M. 0 . A. mechanics school
program , the A.M.O .A. has listed a
set of requirements to follow for
those who want to have such a
school in their area .
The school , which is usuaily
sponsored by the A.M.O .A. , may
also be sponsored by state associa-
tions . In that case , the state
association must mail out its own
registration forms , collect the tuition
($150 per student) , pay instructor
fees and expenses . Nothing is paid to
the A.M .O .A.
Operators who are interested in
the school but who do not have a
state association should contact the
1-312-726-2810 .
A.M.O.A.
at
These operators will probably be
asked to help find a motel where the
classes may be held and the students
housed.
One such state association which
has · chosen to sponsor the ten-day
mechanics school conducted by Don
Miller , is being held at the Holiday
Inn -International Drive in Orlando ,
Florida .
Like the A.M .O .A. school , the
F.A.M .A. school will be on schema-
tics and the fundamentals of trouble-
shooting flipper games . This school ,
according to F.A.M.A., will be the
first segment of a F.A.M.A.-spon-
sored mechanics course . The second
segment, on a school on digital
machines , will follow at a later date .
The school goes for ten consecu-
tive days from 9 a .m. to 5 p .m. each
day . Registration is limited to twenty
students .
