All Ages Play at 24 Gulbransen Pianos
in San Bernardino Festival
Promoting the use of the piano by per-
sons of all ages was manifested recently
in a music festival which was conducted
in the municipal auditorium at San Bern-
ardino. Cal., under the auspices of the San
Bernardino Chapter of the California Music
Teachers Association. Twenty four Gul-
which children from 5 years to 8 years
of age, from 8 to 12 years of age and a
group of boys only played. Other groups
included Junior High School, High School
and Junior College ages and then the
teachers themselves played in a group. In
all there were over 400 who participated.

concert was arranged by a committee
from the music teachers association in-
cluding: Mrs. Byrde T. Bohan, president
of the association; Mrs. Katherine Condon,
vice-president; Mrs. Louise Stiles Ware,
secretary; Mrs. Pauline Speyerer, treas-
urer; Mrs. Estella Hall Reade and Seward
H. Brush, directors; Rowena Bishop, Mrs.
Alma Carr and Alexandria Grow.
The concert was under the direction of
Over 2,000 attended the festival, the James K. Guthrie. Ford Waldo, widely
