RCA small set
sales aid
One of the most colorful sales aids ever
devised by RCA Victor is embodied in a
15-page multi-colored folder of envelope-
stuffer size which illustrates and describes
nearly a score of new table radios ideally
suited for service as "extra" radios in the
home. It is being supplied to key dealers
by means of a special arrangement for
imprinting and mailing.
The booklet is a powerful selling
medium from its front cover, combining
the new Super Six table receiver, with a
model, and blue-prints of a new home, to
the back-cover explanation of the impor-
tance of RCA Victor research in radio's
development. The table models, which
range in price from $9.95 to $49.95, are
presented in full natural color. Brilliant
background colors and descriptive draw-
ings are employed to enhance the book-
let further.
The first two pages are devoted to illus-
trating ideal locations for small radios "for
intimate listening wherever you are." Full
color illustrations show appropriate re-
ceivers for the living room, bed room,
guest room, kitchen, laundry, and other
locations in the home.
For a nominal charge, RCA Victor
dealers have the booklet imprinted and
mailed from Camden headquarters to lists
of their own prospects, or to carefully
selected lists of residents of any area
chosen by the dealer. It is also supplied
unimprinted for over-the-counter or other
distribution.

Brings Sales
success which the Des Moines Music Co.
of Des Moines, Iowa has had with the
At the Convention in Chicago last year
the Ansley Radio Corp., New York dis-
played a Dynaphone combination machine
with record cabinets placed each side of
it. This display -was accepted with such
enthusiasm that it has been made a
feature of the Ansley fall merchandising
plan and used to advantage by many
dealers throughout the country.
This display was first used by Bissell-
Weisert Co. in Chicago. Many dealers
have made this Dynaphone grouping their
leading store or window display. Bissell-
Weisert reports many sales as the result
of it. Another outstanding example is the
same display. They have featured it in
many ways with good results.
in either console or chairside models.
There is a choice of 12 different wood
finishes—including the new widely pop-
ular Ansley Toasted Mahogany.
Through careful preparation and effi-
cient manufacluring, the cost of the new
FM unit is within the reach of all. The
addition of a "static-less radio" raises
the regular prices of the Dynaphone by
only sixty dollars. This makes it possible
to have a standard and short wave con-
sole combination with FM added for
only $169.50, for the 8-tube chassis. The
12 and 14-tube models range somewhat
higher in price.
If present Dynaphone owners desire
FM reception they need only return the
instrument to the factory and, at a cost
of sixty dollars plus ten dollars for labor,
the set will be returned FM equipped.
The new FM by Ansley provides a sep-
arate 6-tube FM tuning unit, built into the
normal chassis, but having its own sep-
arate tuning dial.
