The regular fall meeting of the Adver-
tising Managers Club of the National Piano
Manufacturers Association was held at
the Hotel New Yorker, New York on Octo-
ber 1st. Joseph L. Seltzer of Winter & Co.,
the new president presided. Plans were
discussed for a greater effort than even
previously to aid the dealer in promoting
a Spring Peak campaign next year dur-
ing National Music Week. In addition to
the Spring Peak kit which has been fur-
nished each year for $1.00 a recommen-
dation was made to provide a quarterly
mat service for dealers at a nominal cost.
It is also planned to include in the kit this
year advertisements which can be used
at other times during the year. A poster
will also be printed which may be dis-
played on the moving vans which deliver
pianos. All these matters were referred to
a committee appointed by President Selt-
zer. The committee is composed of C. R.
Hogen, N. W. Ayer & Son, chairman.
