Seiberling and Lucas
Dissolve Their Partnership
PORTLAND, ORE., April 12.--The Seiberling, Lucas
Music Co., composed of F. A. Seiberling and
Frank Lucas who have been in business to-
gether in Portland for the past seventeen years,
has announced that it will dissolve the busi-
ness and is now staging a sale looking to this
end at the present store at 151 Fourth street.
According to announcement by Mr. Seiberling
Mr. Lucas will take over the retail trade and
get a location elsewhere, while Mr. Seiberling
will carry on the wholesale business of the firm,
getting warehouse and office space for this
purpose. The wholesale trade of the firm has
been greatly increased the last couple of 'years.
The lease of the building at 151 Fourth street
has still five years yet to run, and it is (heir pur-
pose to sublet it and as soon as that is arranged
their plans will be announced, says Mr. Seiber-
ling.
