instrument, a source of power, striker pneu-
matics, an expression pneumatic under control
of the record, a regulating valve, a regulating
pneumatic having a flexible connection there-
with, a mechanical connection between said
expression pneumatic and the flexible connec-
tion connecting the regulating pneumatic and
the regulating valve, an additional regulating
pneumatic, a valve controlled by the latter,
means under control of the operator to render
the latter valve effective or ineffective at will,

is controlled by the said valves.

1,613,400. Apparatus for teaching music, compris-
ing a piano keyboard, a silent keyboard, a staff
board located in proper relation thereto, and
means operated by a depression of a key in
the piano keyboard for lighting an electric light
adjacent the corresponding key in the silent
keyboard.
