LEONID KREUTZER,
INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS
WHO RECORD EXCLUSIVELY
for WELTE-MIGNON LICENSEE
To the imposing list of composers and concert pianists who record
exclusively the "Artist Created" records for Welte-Mignon Li-
censee, seven musicians of international reputation are now added.
Their notable names add to the prestige and the musical scope of
the Welte-Mignon Licensee recordings of pianistic art. All are
artists of international fame, leaders in the world of music.
Erno Rapee, Hungarian composer, conductor, musical director of the
magnificent Roxy Theatre just opened; Fritz Reiner, popular con-
ductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, who is directing the
recording of twelve •World-famous symphonies; Darius Milhaud,
French composer, conductor and piano virtuoso; Ottorino Respighi,
Italian, pupil of Rimsky-Korsakoff, whose operatic scores are in high
favor in Europe; Evly n Howard-Jones, one of England's best con-
cert pianists and conductors; Alfred Blumen, soloist with the
VWtna Philharmonic Orchestra under Richard Strauss, and also
the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; Leonid Kreutzer, composer of
the modern Russian School, a conductor of eminence.
^TKese artists reflect music truly international in character. Each a
consummate artist, each adding immeasurably to the range of Welte-
Mignon Licensee recordings. Of especial value is the recording,
just completed, of Respighi's "Fountains of Rome," a composition
of singular beauty ,which he recorded as a duet with Alfredo Casella.
