Wide Scope of Christmas
Music Is in Demand
Variety of Material Required to Meet the
Varied Demands—A Good Carl Fischer Item
While much of the Christmas music, par-
ticularly that for special events, is arranged
for and purchased by choir and orchestra
leaders early in the Fall, there naturally is al-
ways additional material that must be procured
at later dates. There are, too, the late pro-
grams that must be filled and necessarily the
music dealer is called upon not only for quick
suggestions but for appropriate material. This

Takes "Chinese Moon"
The Sam Fox Publishing Co., of New York
and Cleveland, Ohio, recently took over from
Kayen Music Corp. the song and dance suc-
cess, "Chinese Moon," words of which are by
Ben Bronfin and the music by Joseph Nuss-
baum. A special campaign has been arranged
by the Sam Fox organization on this offering
and orchestras in all parts of the country are
making a feature of it. Included in the present
exploitation drive is a special plan for inter-
esting singers in vaudeville and in radio pro-
grams. Much success has already been achieved
along these lines, with indications pointing to
unusually heavy responses.
