Irving Mills Makes Debut
Irving Mills, well-known music publisher and
executive of Jack Mills, Inc., made his debut
recently as a radio singer, when he broadcasted
over WHN, New York City. Mr. Mills chose
for his initial try over the air his latest "blues"
song, entitled, "Nobody Knows What A Red-
Hot Mamma Can Do," and immediately estab-
lished himself as a prospective favorite. Scores
of letters have been received at WHN praising
this new delineator of "blues" songs.

L. Grant Ege, head of the sheet music and
publishing departments of J. W. Jenkins'
Sons, Kansas City, Mo., spent several days in
New York the early part of this week. While
here Mr. Ege added some new activities on
"Kiss Me Good Night," a waltz published by
his company which is going very strong
throughout the country. This, together with
"Memory's Garden," a ballad, and the Jenkins
famous "Adoration Waltz," are leading that
firm's catalog.
