At.TOONA, PA., June 9.—The Nicomede Music Co.
is meeting with considerable success in market-
ing its new banjo and drum head cleaner in the
tiade. It is the invention of Joseph Nicomede,
head of the concern, who declares it is unique

ments, 342 Madison avenue, New York, returned
last week after a several weeks' business trip
through the West and Middle West. Mr. Trout
reported that the manufacturers of fretted in
struments were busier than they have been in
many months and all placed large orders for
hardware.and accessories.

In discussing the new article with a represent-
ative of The Review here to-day Mr. Nicomede
said: "I am certainly gratified to observe the
satisfactory progress the Wonder banjo and
drum head cleaner is making. Dealers every-
where are stocking them and they report that
every banjoist who sees it buys it.
"It contains no rubber and is safe and eco-
nomical to use. One man told him it had
already saved him many dollars *n new heads.
The use of this cleaner means that the player
always has a new looking head on his banjo or
drum. It is being sold by all leading dealers
in the trade."
The Nicomede Music Co. is the publisher of
the Morris Tenor Banjo Method. This is
written by William ("Banjo Bill") Morris, well
known to banjoists everywhere, and many deal-
ers are receiving inquiries for the method which
have led them to carry it in stock.
Other Nicomede publications include a new
jazz folio of tenor-banjo solos, which is prov-
ing popular; the banjo-saxo folio of duets for
banjo and tenor-banjo, the Star plectrum banjo
folio and the ukulele song book (now in pub-
lication).
The Nicomede Music Co. is also sole selling
agent for the United States and Canada for the
Lustroil musical instrument polish widely used
by musical instrument players. It is being sold
through dealers.
ELKHART, IND., June 9.—Buescher saxophones
and band instruments will now be carried in
New York and Philadelphia at the Wanamaker
stores, it was announced by F. A. Buescher,
president of the Buescher Band Instrument Co.,
upon his return from the convention at New
York to-day. While Mr. Buescher was in New
York representatives of Wanamaker's conferred
with him at the Waldorf-Astoria and the ar-
rangements were completed.
The New York Band Instrument Co. will
continue to act as a New York Buescher agent
and will wholesale the Buescher line in the
metropolitan district as well as retail Buescher
instruments at the Fourteenth street store.

Line Comprises Complete Variety of Cases for
All Band and Orchestra Instruments in
Veneer, Fiber, Duck, Canvas, Etc.
The Waverly Musical Products Co., 342 Mad-
ison avenue, New York, has been appointed
general sales agent for the entire United States
and Canada for the Paragon line of cases for
musical instruments, made by the Paragon Case
Co., Oregon, 111., according to announcement
made Monday by A. K. Trout, general manager
of the Waverly organization. Mr. Trout was in
conference during the convention with E. W.
