up thi s week, which. may continue and take us
ahead of last D ecem ber, but so far we are not

surprising feature
of this situation is that
November doubled the same month of last year.
\Ve attribute the falling off in sales to the un

the month may pass that of a year ago."
Bob Hollinshead, local di stri butor for Q R S

"VETERANS" HOLD CHRISTMAS PARTY
Unique Group of Piano Men Hold Get-together
Luncheon in Local Restaurant
Tuesday of this week was Veterans' Day at a
cer tain small restaurant in West Forty-fifth
street, New York, when some twoscore former
employes of a well-known music hou se gathered
together for th ei r annual Christmas party, th e
festive board being g raced by some men very
prominent in the industry. This happened to be
the an nual celebration and there was everything
there to make it a real good party. It might
be said in passing that a very sizable propor
tion of th e "veterans" gather at the same restau
rant once each month for a little get-together
luncheon and the opportunity for exchanging
ideas.
