Stores, which, for some time past, had been un
derselling and using shee t music as a sal es
leader ra ther th an an obje ct of merchandise
up on which a profit must be realized, has in
creas ed the price at wh ich it will se ll populal
m usic from 20 to 25 cents per copy.
