OHN JACOB ASTOR, founder of the vast Astor
estate, was also America's pioneer piano merchant.
Records show that in 1789, he started a flourishing
piano business which developed and has grown into the
^presefnt Bacon Piano Company.
This distinguished historyv-134 years of prominence and
prestige—is an important asset to the dealer selling the
Francis Bacon Line. However, considered from an angle
of sales and profit, it is not as important as the excep-
tional quality he can offer in Francis Bacon Pianos, at a
price range that fits the great mass of buyers that makes
up his volume business.

The Francis Bacon Line embraces Qrands, Players, Uprights,
Electric Expression Players and Welte-Mignon (Licensee)^
Reproducing Pianos, both Qrand and Upright.
