TORONTO, ONT., February i.—The sheet music
business in Canada is holding up to a very sub-
stantial level, according to latest figures con-
cerning the imports of music from other coun-
tries, particularly from the United States. The
figures for 1922 show a slight drop from those
for corresponding periods during 1921, but it
is expected that the business volume will again
begin to decline shortly.
The figures just released by the Government
cover imports of music printed, bound or in
sheets, for the month of October, 1922, as com-
pared with October, 1921, and are as follows:
