tendered last week in honor of L. Schoenwald,
manager of the Story & Clark Piano Co. store
here, by his entire staff, in the Adelphia Hotel.
While the dinner was tendered to Mr. Schoen-
wald 011 the occasion of his departure from Phila-
delphia to take charge of a broader field, which is
of the entire organization of the metropolitan
district of the Story & Clark Piano Co., it also
served as a welcome to the new local manager,
M. Gennis, who was the guest of honor with
George H. Eucker, general manager of the entire
retail department of the company.
Mr. Schoenwald was presented with a beau-
tiful gold watch. The presentation speech was
made by Charles W. Goetz, credit manager of the
"local office. Mr. Genuis, the new manager, was
presented with a floral horseshoe. 11. J. Gideon
acted as toastniaster, and speeches were made by
G. H. Eucker, Mr. Gennis, Mr. Schoenwald,
C. W. Goetz, J. W. Horn, R. J. Smith, M. Mar-
tin, H. C. Schoeppy and others.
