HE cornerstone of any successful business is Service—
that intangible personal effort which is given in addi-
tion to the hundred per cent, delivery demanded in
any transaction.
When a business institution grows naturally to be one of the
largest in its field, it is proof of the service and of the spirit and
skill with which it is rendered. Dollar honesty—the giving of
honest quality—is not sufficient. That alone would not have
enabled us to sell over one hundred and twenty-five thousand
pianos in a highly competitive field.
Co-operation is the vital force—co-operation, personally, and
intelligently applied, to the requirements of our dealers and
every member of their selling force. We do not feel that the
shipment of instruments from our factory terminates our ob-
ligations. In fact, then it begins, for we do not consider that
we have sold Milton pianos until we have helped in every way
to place the instruments in the homes of the ultimate purchasers.
As a result of this intimate and personal co-operation, plus the
undeniable quality and style of the Milton products, our dealers
and salesmen are weathering the storm of adverse business winds
with all sails set, ready for the coming season.
We have extensive plans for business building, based on a careful
analysis of the present and coming retail market conditions, that
will prove mighty interesting to all dealers.
