Jesse G. M. Glick Returns From Visit to the East
—Knox Simms Now With Hauschildt Music
Store—A New Local Publication
SAX FRANCISCO, CAL., September 23.—Jesse G. M.
Glick, author of 'Tale Moon," with Frederick
Knight Logan, has returned recently to San
Francisco from a trip East, where he visited
several composers. He spent some time with
Mr. Logan, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and arranged
with him to write music for Indian songs.
Knox Simms, who formerly had charge of the
sheet music and small goods departments in the
P.yron Mauzy store, is located now in the
Hauschildt music store, at 140 O'Farrell street,
San Francisco. John P. Broder, also of the old
Mauzy store, is associated with Mr. Simms.

of Concert Tours for Wife, Sybil Sammis
J. I). MacDermid, the well-known composer,
who recently sold his catalog to Forster, Music
Publisher, inc., and who in the future will write
exclusively for that firm, arrived in New York
last week, accompanied by Sybil Sammis, the
well-known soprano, who in private life is Mrs.
MacDermid, and will make his permanent head-
quarters in this city. Mr. MacDermid will
shortly announce a series of concert tour's in
which Sybil Sammis will be programmed. These
will include appearances in the Seattle Sym-
phony Orchestra, Kansas City, Mo.; Shubert
Theatre and the Temple Choir, of Salt Lake City.
