TWO NEW SONGS BY ARTHUR PENN
Witmark & Sons to Publish "Little White Cot
in the Lane" and "Gingham Gown" at Once
Arthur A. Penn has just placed with his pub-
lishers, M. Witmark & Sons, two attractive new
songs, namely, "Little White Cot in the Lane"
and "Gingham Gown." Mr. Penn is responsible
for both the words and the music of the songs,
as he was in the case of his present successes
published by Witmark's and including "Smilin'
Through," "Sunrise and You," "The Magic of
Your Eyes" and several others. The two new
numbers, which will be issued immediately, are
declared to have that charm of melody and lyric
which has made Mr. Penn's previous songs so
popular.

Window Display of "Century Edition" in Chicago
the Fair Store, where merchandise, to find a
place in the State street window, must be of
high quality and have a selling record that en-
titles it to the honor.
The Fair has held the "Century" sales record
for department stores for more than ten years
and carries a permanent "Century" display in its
the annual convention of the National Associa-
tion of Sheet Music Dealers it brought forth
much comment from the progressive dealers who
attended those sessions.
Fresh air in the lungs is good, but fresh ideas
in the head pay the bills.
