has been laigcly advertised by dealers every-

CHICAGO, I I I . , August 29.—Al Le Bow, who is
directing the destinies of the Al Rose Music
Pub. Co., is in a state of sustained jubilation
these days as a result of the reception which has
greeted "My Chinese Cherry Blossom," which
fox-trot is the headliner of the firm's list.
The number is by Al Le How h.mself and Ray
Jlibbeler and is apparently assuming the pro-
portion of a nation-wide hit. The number is
being used in an Oriental feature in the program
of Ernie Young's "Revue" at the Marigold Gar-
dens, where Isham Jones' Orchestra holds forth
Other shows that are using it are "Cheer Up";
"Hip, Hip, Hurrah!" and "The Chinese Honey-
moon." Billy Murray is also using the piece, as
are many local orchestras.
Mr. Le Bow says that 35,000 copies have been
sold the first month and that the Clark Or-
chestra Roll Co., of De Kalb, 111., which is cut-
ting the piece, is doing a big business. Other
songs on the Al Rose list are: "You Are the
Rose of My Heart," "List'ning," both fox-trots,
and "Sunshine," a waltz.
SECURE "TOMORROW LAND"
Artistic Display of Feist Number
where, was that arranged in the S. S. Kresge
Co. store on Market street, Philadelphia, which
is reproduced herewith.
The entire arrangement is not only unusual,
but is calculated to, and for that matter did,
attract much attention. It should afford an
excellent idea for other music dealers to follow
in displaying sheet music.
Sherman, Clay & Co. have taken over the
new song "To-morrow Land," by H. J. Tandler,
of Los Angeles, and plan to feature it strongly
in their catalog.
