strongly. It is encouraging to report that the
demand for Bowen loaders has increased notice-
ably within the last few months."
R. J. Bowen, inventor of the Bowen loader
and carrier, is also the head of the piano re-
tailing house, the Bowen Piano Co., also of this
city. The loader and carrier was invented to
fill the specific needs of the piano dealer. Mr.
Bowen practices what he preaches, as may be
seen from the accompanying photograph, show-
ing one of the members of the Bowen sales staff
starting out from the Bowen warerooms for a
big day's work of demonstrating in nearby
towns and cities. The Bowen Piano Co. makes
good use of a fleet of seven loaders in its
extensive territory.
