indications that justify the T>elief that this song

Duke Lewis' Novelty Syncopators Come East
to Jazz for the Gothamites
Another Pacific Coast orchestra to be attracted
to Broadway is the Duke Lewis Novelty Synco-
pators, from San Francisco, where they were
the feature of Tait's, of that city. Among other
numbers they will feature while in Eastern ter-
ritory are: "Moonbeams," "Love in Lilac Time,"
"Pining," "Hi-Yo," "Open Arms," "Orange
Blossoms," and Ray Perkins' fox-trot ballad,
"Held Fast in a Baby's Hands," all from the
catalog of the Edw. B. Marks Music Co.
"CHERIE" PROVING POPULAR
"Cherie" is the title of the new number re-
leased by Leo Feist, Inc., which has shown in-
dications of becoming one of the big popular
songs of the Spring. Lina Abarbanel, the well-
known star, is featuring this song.
