FEIST'S NATIONAL PUBLICITY
Leo Feist, Inc., announces the insertion of a
full-page advertisement in the October issue of
the Ladies' Home Journal. The advertisement
will feature the new song, "Rose of - My Heart,"
a number sung by John Steel as a feature song
in Ziegfeld's new "Midnight Frolic," and "Hono-
lulu Eyes," a new waltz melody which is al-
ready a proven success.
As usual in the Feist national publicity cam-
paigns, all the active numbers of their catalog
are mentioned in the copy. Another feature of
the late advertisements inserted by this house is
the prominence given the words "Feist Songs
On Sale at All Good Music Stores." This will
no doubt be welcomed by the trade and will
encourage their co-operation.
WORK SALESMEN ON ZONE SYSTEM
C. C Church & Co., well-known Hartford,
Conn., publishers, are now routing their sales-
men on the zone system, representatives making
their headquarters in the larger cities and reach-
ing out to the outlying small cities by trolley
lines. We understand that this Jiot only reduces
the high cost of railroad travel, but tends for
greater efficiency and co-operation on the part
of the sales staff.
