"I KNOW WHY" STOPS SHOW
Grace Nelson, billed as the "American Made"
prima donna, recently stopped the show at the
Riverside Theatre, New York, according to the
report of one of the critics on a New York pa-
per, with a song called "I Know Why." This
number is issued by Richmond, the publisher,
and while only recently released is being sung
by many vaudeville stars. The Richmond house is
also featuring a number entitled "Just a Kiss."
Jack Robbins, general manager of the company,
is receiving the greatest co-operation from all
the orchestras on the two numbers above men*-
tioned, and the musical reproduction people are
all recording them for early release.
