Shipments for This Month Show Substantial Increases in All Lines—Interesting to Note the Coun-
tries to Which Musical Instruments Have Been Sent From America
WASHINGTON, D. C, November 17.—The Bu-
reau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce has just
issued its monthly statement showing the ex-
ports of musical instruments for the month of
September, 1919. The total exports for the month
amounted to $611,741.
Of the aggregate exportations there were 237
organs, valued at $13,158; 1,221 pianos, valued at
$318,547; 37 piano players, valued at $8,935; 290
player-pianos, valued at $108,244; the value of
perforated music rolls amounted to $25,187; while
all other musical instruments and parts thereof
showed a valuation of $137,670. The countries to
which shipments were made for the month are
