The will of Rudolph E. Schirmer, head of the
music publishing house of G. Schirmer, Inc., who
died on August 20 at Santa Barbara, Cal., leaves
his interest in the company to his widow, who
was Ann Swinburne, but provides that if she
remarries she is to get $10,000 for life instead.
Upon her death the property goes to their in-
fant son, Edward Rudolph, and he is to get the
residue, half of which he receives outright when
he reaches twenty-one years.
The will directs that a deed of trust made in
March, 1916, be carried out, under which his
former wife, Martha Barnes Schirmer, receives
Ihe income from 1,200 shares of G. Schirmer
stock and the property at 240 East Seventeenth
street. The decedent was divorced from her in
Nevada a week before he married Miss Swin-
burne on March 28, 1916.
