you music for dancing — and then be ready
and cheerful for a baihing or sailing party
bright and early in the morning.

Dealer's Name and Address
This is a reduced fac-simile of the Vacation Grafonola adrertisement.
Its actual size is 9 inches deep by 3 newspaper columns wide.
Plated on zinc — suitable for sharp, dear printing in newspapers.
Columbia Service to the Dealer is live, aggressive,
up-to-the-minute—and always on the job.
Here's a typical instance :
The advertisement shown in reduced size at the
left is an exact reproduction, 3 columns wide by 9
inches deep, of the full page Vacation Grafonola ad-
vertisement which Columbia is running in the Satur-
day Evening Post and many other big national maga-
zines during the vacation season.
The Columbia Dealer can secure this advertise-
ment from his Distributor now. It is plated on zinc,
to print sharp and clear on newspaper stock.
Then, when the national publicity begins to run,
creating a demand for these portable Grafonolas, the
Columbia Dealer inserts this advertisement, over his
own signature, in his local newspaper. He diverts the
demand into his own store.
This is the kind of local-national tie-up that makes
sales—and brings the dollars in. It is only a small part
of the Columbia Service, however, which includes
Window Displays, Car Cards, Hangers, Literature and
many other selling helps based upon sound merchan-
dising principles and gotten up in the most attractive
manner.
